During this process I developed a system, now known as Money Smart Mom, that changed my relationship to money forever and helped me again become financially free.  It had such a quick and dramatic impact in my life that it created a passion in me that has continued.  Over the years I have continued to improve the system and make it more user friendly and even fashionable.  Through this process I found many of my friends asking me to help them develop the same system.  Then even strangers inquired when they saw me pull out my Money Smart Mom wallet and I was asked if I could help them customize a spending system to help with their finances.  This is when I knew that my calling was to share my system and support women and moms in their challenges with finances. 

It has become abundantly clear especially in this tough economic market that there is a large population of women that money has the same emotional control it had over me years ago.  I have had some compelling and inspiring women role models in my life and I think every woman should have the same opportunity.  It is inspiring to have positive, solution oriented women in my life that are willing to share their experience, strength and hope so that we can grow together.  That is part of the inspiration for Money Smart Mom, which is about women supporting women so we can grow and be empowered together.
